Cosmic Creatures Collective ("we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Houston, Texas (EIN 93-3474697). We respect your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Registrations and sign-ups. When you register for camp, an event, or volunteering through our Google Forms, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, and logistics details (for example, arrival dates or ticket information).
- Donations and payments. Donations, ticket, and event payments are processed by Zeffy. Zeffy collects your payment details; we receive your name, email, the amount, and a record of the transaction, but never your full card number. Zeffy's own privacy policy applies to information you give them.
- Emails. If you email us or join our mailing list, we keep your email address and our correspondence.
- Basic site analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate visit counts. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To organize camp and event logistics, and to keep participants safe.
- To process donations and send tax receipts.
- To send updates about our programs, events, and volunteer opportunities.
We don't sell your data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
When we share it
We share information only with the service providers that help us run our programs, such as Google (forms and email) and Zeffy (donations and payments), and only as needed for them to provide that service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Donation records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your other information at any time.
Your choices
- Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can simply reply and ask to be removed.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us below.
Children
Our website and forms are not directed to children 13 and under, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian registers minors for family-friendly events. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the effective date above.
